He escorted his group directly to a waiting CBP Officer for processing..
He actually skipped thousands waiting with similar claims. He used these people
for media attention.
IT SEEMS THAT US SENATOR BOOKER MAY NOT HAVE BROKEN US IMMIGRATION LAWS OR ANY US LAWS BY ESCORTING A GROUP OF ILLEGAL ALIENS ACROSS THE BORDER INTO THE US.

HE WAS GREETED BY A CBP AGENT AT THE US SIDE. US BOOKER STATED THAT FIVE OF THE WOMAN WERE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. HE CLEARLY USED HIS POSITION AS A HIGH PROFILE US SENATOR AND 2020 CANDIDATE FOR US PRESIDENT.
Mr. Booker used his role as a U.S. Senator and 2020 Presidential Candidate to assist the people seeking asylum and to experience the uncertainty and logistical challenges of the Trump administration’s tamping down on asylum claims.
“This was a heartbreaking day to hear firsthand from the people who are escaping individual terror,” Mr. Booker told reporters on a street corner in El Paso minutes after crossing back into the United States. He described his view of the asylum process, and how it was compounding trauma. “The system that this president has created is unacceptable,” he said.

Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., ventured into Mexico on Wednesday to help escort five female asylum seekers to the United States, his campaign said.
The 2020 presidential hopeful crossed the El Paso, Texas, port of entry into Ciudad Juarez with immigrant rights attorneys and advocates to get five women fleeing domestic violence admitted into the U.S. after they had been sent back to Mexico.

'Seeking asylum is a legal right': Democratic Presidential candidate Cory Booker causes controversy by helping immigrants in Mexico return to the US after they were deported as he is slammed for 'breaking the law'
Democratic Presidential candidate Cory Booker has The Senator, 50, visited the Mexican border city Ciudad Juarez from El Paso, Texas, to help five women who had previously been sent back to Mexico.caused controversy by crossing into Mexico to escort deported asylum seekers back over the border.
He was joined by immigration rights attorneys and advocates to get the women, who are fleeing domestic violence, admitted back into the US.
However, he has been accused of breaking the law by critics who claimed he violated legislation which prohibits 'bringing or attempting to bring unauthorized aliens into the United States in any manner whatsoever, even at a designated port of entry'.
His trip across the border comes after Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez visited a detention center this week and said that illegal immigrants and asylum-seekers were 'drinking out of toilets' – a claim an agency official quickly denied.

Texas Border Port-of-Entry Shut Down After Migrant Rush
McALLEN, Texas — A rush by a large group of migrants trying to force their way from Mexico into a local port-of-entry led to a temporary shutdown.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening when a group of migrants in Mexico tried to rush the Hidalgo-Reynosa Port-of-Entry, U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealed.
“U.S. Customs and Border Protection deployed officers and concertina wire to temporarily close the Hidalgo International Bridge in response to multiple groups of undocumented aliens that had attempted to enter the port without inspection,” an agency statement explained. “Deployment of port hardening measures such as concertina wire and barricades supplemented by CBP personnel effectively eliminates the ability for a large group of migrants to illegally and forcefully surge through the Ports of Entry. The Hidalgo Bridge was temporarily closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.”
