On Jan. 6, Pence is set to preside over Congress’ meeting to count the Electoral College votes, which will officially cement Biden as the next president, according to the 1887 Electoral Count Act that designates the vice president as the official to preside over the meeting.

A group of congressional Republicans led by Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert are suing Vice President Mike Pence to prevent him from confirming Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.

On Jan. 6, Pence is set to preside over Congress’ meeting to count the Electoral College votes, which will officially cement Biden as the next president, according to the 1887 Electoral Count Act that designates the vice president as the official to preside over the meeting.

The lawsuit, which lists Arizona Republican Party Chair Kelli Ward among almost a dozen additional plaintiffs, claims that any action that declares Biden the winner of the election will be fraudulent.

“This civil action seeks an expedited declaratory judgment finding that the elector dispute resolution provisions in Section 15 of the Electoral Count Act, 3 U.S.C. §§ 5 and 15, are unconstitutional because these provisions violate the Electors Clause and the Twelfth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution,” the suit reads

This bill directs $54 billion to New York. Much of that will go to residents, via “stimulus” checks and enhanced unemployment benefits, and to businesses

Start with state tax revenue, which has done better than predicted after the pandemic began. Receipts in November totaled $807 million more than projected, state Comptroller Tom DiNapoli reports. From the start of the fiscal year in April through last month, the intake has been a net $375 million above expectations.

On top of that, the $900 billion COVID relief package Congress just passed directs $54 billion to New York. Much of that will go to residents, via “stimulus” checks and enhanced unemployment benefits, and to businesses, but it also includes:

$5.8 billion for schools

$4.2 billion for the MTA

$810 million for vaccine distribution

$810 million for the city’s Health Department

$1 billion in disaster-relief funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

That’s a lot of cash. And New York was given even more (about $112 billion in total) in the spring via the CARES Act, which directed:

$7.5 billion in state and local coronavirus-relief aid

$7.5 billion for the disaster relief fund

$4.1 billion for transit

$1 billion for schools

LET’S NOT FORGET THE STALLED $3.4 BILLION NEW YORK STATE ( Under NYS Gov. Cuomo). WE NEED ANSWERS?

As for the city, DiNapoli says its finances “have remained resilient,” too — largely “as a result of tax revenue from the financial-services sector.”

Yes, revenues are off for the year: The comptroller notes, for instance, that state tax receipts since April total $3 billion less than over the same period last year. But the big problem clearly isn’t a lack of revenue so much as an addiction to spending.

All pandemic long, de Blasio and Cuomo have both pinned their budgeting on the fantasy that Washington would ship up a big enough handout — if not immediately, then after Joe Biden takes office — to essentially let New York keep spending as if COVID never existed.

Meanwhile, New York’s two “leaders” have waited — and, if anything, made the situation worse: De Blasio, for example, pushed some of this year’s payments to unionized city workers into next year and never got the $1 billion in recurring “labor savings” he promised. That puts enormous strain on future budgets.

Worse, neither acknowledges that, post-pandemic, the New York City government “business model” has to change.

Think about it: Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers have left the city; a good number won’t be returning to offices here. Financial firms are fleeing. And all that means real estate has lost value.

Rather, city and state politicians must re-think what New York can afford. They’ll need to be frank with labor leaders: structural changes — to pension plans, work rules, overtime practices, etc. — are now simply unavoidable.

Let’s face it: The pandemic appears to have triggered a long-brewing fiscal reckoning. New York’s leaders will have to deal with it realistically — or drown in a sea of red ink.

President Donald Trump’s efforts to challenge the election results could come down to him pressing congressional Republicans to step in and help.

Politico noted that Congress has to certify the results of the election after the Electoral College casts the official vote for president on Dec. 14.

An 1887 law mandates that Congress must meet on Jan. 6 to take action.

The law says that the House and Senate must meet in joint session that day to certify the results.

But if a House member and senator team together, they are able to object to entire slates of presidential electors. And there are multiple opportunities for lengthy delays in the process since each state’s electors must be certified separately, Politico said.

If a slate of electors is challenged, the House and Senate must go back to their chambers and debate the outcome before voting

And if the Senate upholds a challenge to some presidential electors, it would almost certainly put the chamber at odds with the Democrat-run House victory.

Still, several Republican lawmakers in then House acknowledge they are considering the option to challenge, Politico said.

“Nothing is off the table,” said Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.

And Rep. Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, said potential challenges are seriously being considered by some members and they’re “studying” up on it.

Supreme Court rules against Cuomo's coronavirus limits -- with Barrett playing key role Chief Justice Roberts sided with the court's liberals in the dissenting opinion  By David Aaro Fox News

The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday night blocked New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo from reimposing strict attendance caps at worship services in areas hit hard by the novel coronavirus.

The court ruled 5-4 to bar Cuomo from enforcing his Oct. 6 “Cluster Initiative” against houses of worship that sued to challenge the restrictions. The order was also the first in which Justice Amy Coney Barrett played a decisive role.

Barrett, who was President Trump's third Supreme Court nominee, joined the court Oct. 27, after winning Senate confirmation following the Sept. 18 death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Newsmax Calls Biden Winner in Mich., Nevada, Pa. Based on Certifications

Newsmax's policy of basing calls in contested states on official certifications, Newsmax is naming Biden as the victor over Trump in all three states

 https://www.newsmax.com/t/newsmax/article/998633/1

Newsmax is naming Joe Biden the winner of Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania after those states officially certified their election results.

Newsmax has not yet called the entirety of the 2020 presidential race for former vice president Joe Biden, but expects to make a determination shortly after reviewing legal challenges made by the Trump campaign.

Pennsylvania announced Tuesday that it officially certified its election results, giving Biden the state’s 20 electoral college votes. Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar certified Biden’s 80,555-vote margin of victory, which was announced in a tweet by Gov. Tom Wolf.

Also on Tuesday, the Nevada Supreme Court unanimously approved that state’s election results, giving Biden Nevada’s six electoral votes.

And on Monday, Michigan election officials certified Biden’s 154,000-vote victory there, though President Donald Trump and his legal team have challenged the election tallies.

Thus, consistent with Newsmax's policy of basing calls in contested states on official certifications, Newsmax is naming Biden as the victor over Trump in all three states.

Last Friday, Newsmax called Georgia for Biden after an initial recount found him the winner by over 12,000 votes. President Trump has asked for a second recount, which is underway.

Ben Carson: Was 'Extremely Sick,' Trump Cleared for Monoclonal Antibodies

FDA APPROVED(BAMLANIVIMAB)

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson says he was "extremely sick" with the coronavirus, but President Donald Trump cleared him for the monoclonal antibody treatment he'd received himself.

"President Trump was following my condition and cleared me for the monoclonal antibody therapy that he had previously received, which I am convinced saved my life," Carson said on his Facebook account.

"I was extremely sick and initially took Oleander 4X with dramatic improvement," Carson said. Oleandrin, a derivative of the oleander plant, is the medication that had been championed by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for the treatment of coronavirus.

However, Carson added that he has "several co-morbidities" and after experiencing minor discomfort, his symptoms "accelerated" and he became "desperately ill."

Carson said he's convinced the monoclonal antibody treatment was what saved his life.

"President Trump, the fabulous White House medical team and the phenomenal doctors at Walter Reed have been paying very close attention to my health and I do believe I am out of the woods at this point," Carson said, adding that he hopes "we can stop playing politics with medicine"

"We must prioritize getting comparable treatments and care to everyone as soon as possible," said Carson.

Trump in October credited his own recovery to antibody treatments from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. The Food and Drug Administration last week approved Bamlanivimab, Eli Lilly's monoclonal antibody therapy, for emergency use. Regeneron's treatment has not yet received emergency use authorizations.

"There are a number of promising treatments that need to be tested, approved, and distributed (sooner rather than later) so that the economy can be re-opened and we can all return to a semblance of normalcy," Carson said.

He also urged people not to cause alarm by claiming there have been "dangerous shortcuts" involved in the development of a COVID-19 vaccine.

PA - We’re going to seat the electors.
Half of the Pennsylvania House and Senate leaders support the move. Republicans control both houses: 29-21 in the Senate and 113-90 in the House of Representatives)

''So, we’re going to do a resolution between the House and Senate, hopefully today,'' Republican Sen. Doug Mastriano said Friday on ''War Room,'' former White House strategist Steve Bannon’s video podcast.

''I’ve spent two hours online trying to coordinate this with my colleagues. And there’s a lot of good people working this here. Saying that the resolution, saying we’re going to take our power back. We’re going to seat the electors. Now obviously we’re going to need the support of the leadership of the House and Senate. We’re getting there on that.''

Mastriano, 56, a retired U.S. Army colonel who represents the state’s Senate District 33 in the south central counties of Cumberland, Adams, Franklin, and York, said about half of the Pennsylvania House and Senate leaders support the move. Republicans control both houses: 29-21 in the Senate and 113-90 in the House of Representatives.

President Donald Trump’s legal team suffered yet another defeat in court Friday as a federal appeals court in Philadelphia roundly rejected the campaign's latest effort to challenge the state’s election results.

Trump’s lawyers vowed to appeal to the Supreme Court despite the judges' assessment that the “campaign’s claims have no merit.”

“Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here,” 3rd Circuit Judge Stephanos Bibas wrote for the three-judge panel.

The case had been argued last week in a lower court by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who insisted during five hours of oral arguments that the 2020 presidential election had been marred by widespread fraud in Pennsylvania. However, Giuliani failed to offer any tangible proof of that in court.

U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann had said the campaign's error-filled complaint, “like Frankenstein’s Monster, has been haphazardly stitched together” and denied Giuliani the right to amend it for a second time

US Election 2020: when do states certify their election results?

November 20 - Georgia

November 23 - Michigan, Pennsylvania

(Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and other state officials assailed a Pittsburgh judge for issuing what they described as an unprecedented order halting additional steps in the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory.

“Since the birth of our nation nearly 250 years ago, no court has ever issued an order purporting to interfere with a state’s ascertainment of its presidential electors -- until today,” state officials said in an appeal filed shortly after Commonwealth Court Judge Patricia McCullough’s Wednesday ruling in a lawsuit brought by Pennsylvania Republicans. “There is no conceivable justification for the lower court’s issuance of such an order in this case)

November 24 - Minnesota, North Carolina

November 30 - Arizona

December 1 - Nevada, Wisconsin

(WISCONSIN - Republicans filed a lawsuit Tuesday asking the Wisconsin Supreme Court to block certification of the presidential election results even as a recount over Joe Biden’s apparent win over President Donald Trump is ongoing. The lawsuit echoes many of the same arguments Trump is making in trying, unsuccessfully, to have tens of thousands of ballots discounted during the recount. It also seeks to give the power to name presidential electors to the Republican-controlled Legislature).

Wisconsin state law allows the political parties to pick electors, which was done in October. Once the election results are certified (it's scheduled to be done Dec. 1), those pre-determined electors will cast their ballots for the winner on Dec. 14.

As the certification dates are created by the states themselves there is, in theory, nothing stopping them from missing their own deadlines.

If that were to happen they would risk forcing Congress to decide whether a slate of electors in legitimate.

This opens up the possibility that Republican-led state Senates could send Trump electors, in spite of how the state actually voted.

(CNS News) --

Conservative radio host Mark Levin criticized media coverage of election fraud lawsuits being brought by the Trump campaign on "The Mark Levin Show" Thursday.

“There’s a lot of confusion here,” Levin said, noting that the media have changed their narrative from “there’s no fraud” to “there’s not enough fraud to matter.”

Levin attacks the latter point, saying “the quantity of fraud is not the test.”

"You have sworn affidavits by American citizens, also election officials, under penalty of perjury. You didn't have that in the Russia hoax case. You didn't have that in the Stacey Abrams case in Georgia; you've got it up the wazoo here! So the quantity of the affidavits and the seriousness of the affidavits is unparalleled in American history, in American history! The fact of fraud can raise serious, even grave concerns of voter disenfranchisement. That's enough!"

Article One, Article Two, and the 12th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution about contested or contingent elections

This MAY BE headed to the Supreme Court.

- Where they will rule that the election is invalid due to fraud or errors on a national scale.

It will happen in One or two ways:

- either they will rule that all Mail In Postal votes are unconstitutional and shall therefore be withdrawn and each state will be ordered to recount without them.
